Socratus Startup Studio, invested by Gund Investment LLC, which engages in startup business development and investment activities, successfully wraps up ‘INVESTUS SUMMIT 2023’ event for investors and business owners from February 28th to March 1st.

The event kicked off with ‘INVESTUS SEMINAR’ for academic institutions, universities, and policy-making government organizations on 28th of February at National University of Mongolia. Mr. Ong Boon Hwee, Business advisor at Temasek Holdings and Mr. Munkhtsog, CEO of Socratus Studio LLC, delivered a speech on their research and knowledge of innovation development support models and policies. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology, Young Researcher Supporting Foundation and other related governmental and non-governmental organizations also shared their experiences and had a discussion on the topic.  

The theme for the main event, which was held on March 1, was "Knowledge-backed investment" and attended by 200 individuals, business owners and investors, at Shangri-La Ulaanbaatar hotel, Ballroom. In addition to presenting methodology and experience of building a sustainable business with organic growth, capable of eliminating challenges faced by investors and realizing their goals, representatives of the International Council on Systems Engineering “INCOSE” and Stewardship Asia Centre shared their knowledge and experience with the audience through presentation. Followed by a networking event and exclusive workshop for family business owners, the main event also acted as a bridge between possible investors and business owners, with 5 business pitches presenting their possible business ideas to the audience.

With the objective, presenting investment opportunities to investors and business owners, sharing experience and knowledge about systems engineering-based methods for managing investment risks, the event concluded with an exclusive workshop for company leaders, organized under the following theme, ‘Rediscovering leadership, system engineered approach for supporting leadership’ on 2nd of March.‍
